Coastal Forest, Wet coastal forests; monsoon forest; frequents all types of regrowth; overgrown clearings.

Breeds all year around, but predominantly January to April. Two eggs, cream in colour. Incubation by both sexes - female during the night, male during the day. Incubation period 14-16 days.
