Description
Female resembles the Grey Teal; differences include, pale eyebrow stripe and a dark line through the eye. Dark brown above and on upper breast, almost pure-white below. Male: long curving pale eyebrow, dark above with long drooping black and white scapulars, dark green-blue speculum margined white; rufous-brown breast; retains blue-grey shoulders.
