Description

Olive green above, duller or bluer-green on head, whitish below, washed buff-grey on sides of upperbreast, tail blackish brown.

Habits

Diurnal, Usually solitary, sometimes seen in pairs.

Habitat

Forest Wetlands, Lowland rainforests; mangroves; swamps; streams.

Breeding

October to December, 2 to 3; white, reddish-brown dots.Female incubates the eggs 12 days. Young fledge in about 10 days.Usually on one brood a year.
