Description

Distinct white line from bill over reddish eye and blackish lower half of tail with large white spot near tip of each outer tail-feather.

Habits

Diurnal, Forages alone or in pairs, established pairs hold territroy when breeding.

Habitat

Coastal Wetlands, Tidal mangroves and associated vegetation.

Breeding

October November December January February March, 2; white, small reddish-brown markings. Female incubates the eggs, 12 days, fledge about 10 days.
