Diurnal, Locally nomadic, forage alone, governed by the fruiting of mistletoes.

Habitat

Forest Woodland Shrubland Stone Country, Dense rain-forest to mallee scrubs of interior; open woodland.

Breeding

October November December January February March (according to fruiting), 3 (usually); pure white.Female builds and incubates, the male shares feeding duties. Young fledge 15 days.

Omnivore, feed on the berries of the parasitic mistletoe plant, spreading the seeds of the fruit. Also feeds on insects.
