Habitat

Open Forest Woodland, From Northern Territory to southern Victoria.

Breeding

October November December January February, 2 rarely 3; salmon-pink, spotted reddish-brown and lilac. Both sexes construct the nest, share incubation and rear the young. Incubation period 12-15 days, fledge 12-14 days.

Diet

Herbivore, Almost entirely berries of mistletoe.
