Habits
Diurnal, Solitary bird, occasionally in pairs but almost never in flocks. The female may victimise many nests but lays only one egg in each.

Breeding
September October November December January, Eggs uniform flesh colour dots of darker blue. Brood parasite, laying eggs in the nests of other birds . Usually selects as hosts the Yellow-faced Honeyeater
