Diurnal, Live in pairs, or families of 5-8.

Habitat

Coastal Woodland Wetlands, Marshy lands with low scrub in coastal districts. Prefers grasslands as found on the coastal plains.

Breeding

October November December January February, 4; greyish-white numerous freckles umber & grey. Males take on incubation and rearing of the young unaided. Incubation period 14 days.
