Habits

Generally tame and confiding, usually seen sitting watchfully on stumps or low branches Sedentary or only locally nomadic, established pairs may remain together, but otherwise robins are largley solitary.

Habitat

Shrubland Open Forest, Scrublands and open forests of inland districts.

Breeding

September October November December, 2 to 3; bluish-white, minutely dotted with shades of brown and underlying spots of violet-grey. Incubation about 14 days by the female, young fledge in about 14 days.

Diet

Carnivore, insects.
