Habits

Diurnal, Semi-nomadic, working alone or in pairs.

Habitat

Coastal Wetlands Forest, Mangroves and tea-tree swamps & nearby open forest; rainforest.

Breeding

October November December January, 3; white finely spotted bright chestnut red. Female constructs nest, and incubates the brood alone, Incubation period 12 days, young fledge in 10-11 days. Male assists in feeding of the young.
