Habits

Nocturnal, Nomadic, have daytime roosts, live in pairs, each pair has a number of roosts while it is feeding locally, usually in a territory of up to 10 ha.

Habitat

Woodland Forest Stone Country, Wooded country; rainforest; timber areas; Australia wide all wooded habitats.

Breeding

September to January, 2 to 3; white, round. Incubation 26-33 days by female, fed with food brought by male outside nest, young fledge 5-6 wks fed by both parents.
