Description

White mask from above bill to below eye, margined blackish above, bill fairly sturdy, slightly curved, eye whitish to straw-yellow. Underparts pale-grey.

Habits

Diurnal, Often in the company of the Yellow-rumped Thornbill. Feeds mostly on or near the ground.

Habitat

Woodland Gressland, Open forest country and cleared lands.

Breeding

June July August September October November, 3 to 5 eggs white to pale buff, profusely spotted brown and purplish grey.

Diet

Omnivore, Insects and seeds.
