Coastal Forest Wetlands, Rainforest; vine scrub and fringing open forest and mangroves; escarpment.

Breeding

October November December January February, 3-5 eggs, pale pink spotted red/purple. Incubation, brooding and feeding of the young is done by both sexes.

Omnivore, Insects; nectar and fruit Insects; including beetles; cicasdas; grasshoppers and dragonflies. Prey is taken from the foliage as well as in flight.
