Woodland Forest, Scrub and open forests; well grassed woodlands.

Breeding

September October November December January February, 2; greenish-yellow, numerous lines of unber and blackish-brown and underlying lines of pale purplish-grey. Many are beautifully marked, the tracery of lines forming Incubation by female.

Diet

Omnivore, fruit and insects.
