Habits

Diurnal, Sedentary, and communal, living in small family groups in the same territory or area year round.

Habitat

Forest Stone Country, Heathlands and undergrowth at the margins of rainforests; escarpment.

Breeding

September October November December; sometimes later, 3 to 4; white or reddish white, spotted with different shades of red. Incubation period 14-16 days, female incubates and nest builds unaided, once hatched everyone in the group feeds the young. Young fledge in 10-12 days.
