Description

Wholly white-throated warbler with clear-yellow breast, eye red, upperparts buff-grey, tinged olive, tail blackish.

Habits

Live in pairs that defend well-defined territories. Diurnal, The nest is bark fragments bound with spiderweb, suspended from a branch in the midst of outer foliage, and has a slender tail that dangles below.

Habitat

Forest Woodland, Sapling scrubs and open woodland, eucalypt forest.

Breeding

August September October November DecemberJanuary, 3 rarely 4; white, fine spots purplish-red. Two broods are often raised in succession. The female builds the nest and incubates the eggs and both parents share in the care of the young. Incubation period is 16-21 days and the young take about 14-17 days to fledge.
