Frequently Asked Questions

General Question

I have hundreds and hundreds of tadpoles that was in my dog's pool and I transported them into large containers in the water they were found in. I have found that the size of the tapoles is varies with some being really big and others being really small. I am wondering if frogs keep laying eggs in the same place? I have only seen Green frogs with whitish bellies around my home. I am in Darwin. I want to encourage them to come back.

Answer(s)

The frogs will probably use the same place to breed. The tadpoles can be fed on lettuce or fish food. With the lettuce cook it slightly in a microwave or freeze it and thaw it out before you feed it to them.
