Description
Moderate to stout, grey-brown to olive-brown or green above,. Irregular dark patches and usually light vertebral stripe, faint to dark canthal streak continued behind the eye as a broad dark band which merges with the pattern on the sides.
Habits
Nocturnal. A burrowing frog which is usually found only when it emerges to feed, and to breed in temporary ponds, clay-pans and creeks after rain
Habitat
Lower eastern half of NT to south-western QLD; northern South Australia
