Description

Tiny, slender agile frog with a sharpley pointed snout. Light grey or brown to rich reddish-brown above. Often mottled with darker.

Habits

Nocturnal

Habitat

Forest, Grassland and reeds around wetlands. Arnhemland. Found in saturated leaf litter in coastal paperbark swamps and in leaf-litter fringing inland creeks and lagoons.

Notes

Australian specimens described as a subspecies (microbelos) of the nominate New Guinea subspecies dorsalis.
