Coastal, Forest, Woodland, and near coastal areas of NT. Most common in Monsoon Forest.Savannah woodlands and lowland scrubs

Breeding

Foam nest is deposited in shallow water. Breed in ponds and small water containers in the rural area around Darwin and in shallow drains
