Description

Pale grey-brown or fawn above, often with obscure, scattered darker brown flecks; a dark brown head stripe from just in front of nostril, through eye and ear to upper flank just behind forelimb

Habits

Nocturnal. Found during the wet around sandstone rock faces and crevices near permanent and temporary water in stony hills and scarps. During the dry found among sedges and shrubs bordering small permanent streams.

Habitat

Stone Country, Western edge of Arnhemland NT.

Breeding

Tadpoles with distinctive yellow-gold longitudinal stripes.
