Diurnal, Foraging territories for these sedentary birds are large and can cover over 50 ha.

Habitat

Woodland, Usually high in eucalypts.

Breeding

August to December, 2 to 3; white marked with dark olive and pale grey. The female constructs the nest, both sexes incubate and feed the young. Incubation period 15 days, young fledge 15 days.
