Description

Head and back blue-grey, crown with fine dark streaks, bill shortish and robust, eye red, rump and base of tail tawny, underparts unstreaked, whitish.

Habits

Diurnal, Pairs or small parties, feeds in foliage.

Habitat

Woodland Shrubland, Mulga scrubs, low mountain ranges, dense inland scrubs.

Breeding

July to October, 3 eggs white with a tinge of pink, speckled reddish-brown.

Carnivore Insectivore.
