SEDENTARY, IN PAIRS OR SMALL FLOCKS Forage in small groups, leaving cover only to reach a waterhole

Habitat

Stone Country, Sandstone blocks of escarpments.

Breeding

July August September October, 2 ; creamy white. Both sexes incubate the eggs for about 17 days. Young white-quilled pigeons fly after about 15 days

Diet

Herbivore, Seeds of grasses, herbs and some tree and shrubs.
